One of the reasons for the popularity of polished plaster is its versatility. Venetian plaster comes in many forms, with different constituents and grain sizes. Fine Grain Marmorino, Large Grain Marmorino, Microcement, Lime Concrete, Grassello and Travertino plaster all have distinct properties.
